A bit frustrated at work.... I just don't understand closed minded hateful people....

I'm am worn out from worry from the terrible things they have said about me and the hate they created towards me.  All I do is mind my own business and am helpful to all. Why can't people look at a person's character instead of their religious beliefs, heritage, or sex?

Last night was our annual visit to see the latest production by Sheffield Teachers Operatic Society.

This is not a commuity centre or village hall production but on the stage of the Lyceum Theatre.  It is a 'professional' society in standards, organisation, committment and performance. It produces, every year, a show to rival the professional shows on tour or in London.

Last night it was 'Oliver' in one of the last society performances before it returns to the West End. A wonderful show it was, too. The set first class as was the stage crew, the props and the cast. Keeley Kilby who played 'Nancy' would have done well on the recent talent show to select the performer for the London stage. She was excellent with a voice among the best I have heared.

Phil Brownhill played 'Fagin' in the style of Ron Moody and was a joy to watch, as were the other characters. Not a missed note or chord to be heared.

I must get out the CD of the original cast recording, I feel a song coming.

       I am prepping a presentation on the History of fly fishing for March, more specifically, Michigan Fly history. I have read "Trout Magic" and the "Old AuSable", but if there are other literary greats that I must dig into, please feel free to send any suggestions. I am also in the hunt for vintage turn of the century foto's- I realize how difficult that can be with fires and poor storage, but if anyone has an idea, please forward on to me. I would like to incorporate a powerpoint with the presentation.

On other notes- The 50th Anniversary for Trout Unlimited is next year and will be held in Traverse City, I am looking for "In-Stream Hosts" to take out of state guests fishing in the northern lower peninsula area. For those people who have already left comments on my blog, my apologies if they haven't shown up. I didn't realise I'd put "approval only" comments on here, and only just got an email today telling that I had any comments in the first place. Those individuals who left nasty comments purely because I had "approval only" on...well, I've already apologised as I didn't know it was enabled, and secondly, if you're going to be nasty to me over a simple mistake, then perhaps it's better that I leave it on?

So today I start again from scratch after managing to delete my earlier posts.
